Horseback Tour

Ideal to enjoy the nature and fantastic landscaping, riding along the hills overlooking El Castillo, with stunning views of the Arenal Lake and the Volcano and immersing in the rain forest and local farms until you arrive to a waterfall in the middle of the jungle, where after a short hike you can swim in its crystalline waters before going back to the stables.

Volcano Hikes

Hike the rain forest trails and explore the Lava Fields of the original eruptions of 1968 at the base of the Arenal Volcano in the “Arenal 1968” private park. The trails are clean and well-marked, so you can easily access the lava trails in a self-guided mode. If you prefer to hire a guide let us know.

Hanging Bridges

Either on you own or accompanied with a specialized naturalist guide hike through a combination of suspended bridges and trails around the rain forest, observe picturesque waterfalls and gorgeous look out points, all while learning about the biodiversity of Costa Rica.

Spider Monkey Canyon

Rappel down the rainforest waterfall and then scramble through the natural river obstacles below. “Spider Monkey Canyon” offers several different types of rappels, a small Tarzan swing, a Hanging Bridge and a Zip line, snacks are also included in the package.

ATV´s Tour

You will start out in open plans where you can warm up with your quad. Then quickly start your ride through the tropical rain forest. Crazy turns, wild jumps and a lot of fun and adrenaline running through your body. In the 2 and ½ hours ride you will visit observation points where you can take pictures and cross rivers to wash some of the mud off.

White Water Rafting at Balsa River
